Important Reminders for Filing
Please read these instructions BEFORE attempting to file your claim or
request your benefit payment.
You are required to
disclose your Social Security Number in order to file for unemployment
benefits and other employment services. Your Social Security Number will
be shared with other agencies, as authorized by law.
If you leave the Internet Claims System idle for 50
minutes your session will be terminated and you will be required to
log back into the Internet Claims System to continue.
If you do not answer all of
the required questions and submit your claim, your claim will not be processed.

KRS 341.990 (5) Any
person who knowingly makes a false statement or representation of a
material fact or knowingly fails to disclose a material fact to the
Secretary to obtain or increase any benefit under this chapter or under
an employment security law of any other state, or of the federal
government, either for himself or for any other person, business entity,
or organization shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor unless the
value of the benefits procured or attempted to be procured is one
hundred dollars ($100) or more, in which case he will be guilty of a
Class D felony.
